Broccoli
Broccoli is the source of the most valuable nutrients for the body – Calcium, Iron, Phosphorus, Magnesium among others and contains mustard oil and sulfur compounds (called glucosinolates), which are well known for anti-cancer effects.
Cilantro
Cilantro, also known as “Coriander”, is enjoyed both as an ingredient in recipes but also in the microgreen form. Similar to its mature counterpart, it has a strong citrusy taste.
Yellow Mustard
Mustard has always been very popular as a seasoning and a cure herb. Due to its intense taste, mustard green, suits almost all dishes and is also very healthy.
Peas
Pea microgreens, also known as pea shoots, typically have large root systems, which is why they are grown largely in soil. They are crunchy and juicy, full of frills. Pea green is one of the most protein-rich vegetables.
Radish
Radish microgreens are among the simplest & quickest microgreens to cultivate. They are really tasty (spicy or peppery favour) and add a crunchie texture to the food.
Basil
Basil is a seasoning herb with an intensely aromatic, peppery taste. Sometimes, it can have a sweet taste too and it possesses a very light crunch.
Wheatgrass
Wheatgrass may appear to be a basic “grass”, yet it is one of nature’s finest sources of chlorophyll and living enzymes, making it one of the most potent natural detoxifying agents.
Amaranth
Amaranth microgreens are tender, crisp, and have a sweet and mild, earthy flavor reminiscent of mustard but with much less spice and a delicate grassy finish.
Mizuna
Mizuna microgreens have a unique peppery and slightly bitter flavor. This green is an excellent addition to any mix due to its angular-shaped true leaves and bright green color.
